The Cowboy State Free Press is a Wyoming nonprofit news service that is coming soon to fill the void created by the lack of State House coverage on a year around basis, and to fill the public’s need to know the workings of the government they pay for.
The Cowboy State Free Press will be a one-stop shop for anyone interested in state government and politics that features original reporting, an aggregation of all available open news stories about Wyoming government from any and all media, and provides links within stories to other information resources on state government by providing links to all sites related to state government and politics.
Our mission is simple…to seek the facts, and report them!
Would you like to help us work out the wrinkles? Become a beta tester…
Starting this Thursday, October 15th, we will be posting original stories from our journalists, and working out the inevitable kinks to make this the best Wyoming news service possible.
We would be honored if you consider being one of our readers for this “soft launch.” All we ask is your honest criticism, and good suggestions.
Send me an email — sue.wallis@cowboystatefreepress.org — if you’d like to be on our initial inside circle of trusted friends. Thanks!
